YUJPALM [York University Japanese Alumni] List is an open list for graduates who studied Japanese at York University. It has been created to encourage our graduates to keep in touch with each other and exchange information. Subscription, however, is not limited to graduates. Anyone who is interested in finding out more about our graduates' current activities is welcome to join the list. YUJPALM list is not moderated.

 The owner of the list has no intention of censoring information, but messages that contain obscenity, derogatory expressions, personal attack, solicitation and propaganda [religious/business/political], and biases [sex/race] are prohibited. Should such a message be posted, the owner of the list would reserve the right to warn the subscriber and unsubscribe him/her, if the warning has no effect. Please use your discretion when you post a message.

Hello YUJPALM Member,

  We have installed a mailing list manager (listserv) program
called majordomo on the momiji e-mail server.  Majordomo is a
perl script which automates the management of mailing lists.  It is
executed via electronic mail; users send e-mail to Majordomo with
instructions in the body of the message, and the perl script
performs the requested actions and responds with the  results.
Any text in the "Subject:" line is ignored.

  This program will allow you to; subscribe/unsubscribe from any of
the tsuge lists, check which lists are available, manage your
own list and much more.
